Nick started his logistics career at Fast Forward Freight as a driver. There, he literally learned the trade from the ground up: from delivering shipments to coordinating

complete logistical processes around Schiphol.
Later, he switched to a subsidiary of Fast Forward Freight, where he worked on the Schiphol platform for years. During that period, he studied all aspects of warehousing, especially bonded parts, aircraft parts and stock checks. He ensured accurate warehouse administration and also supported line maintenance.
 At the end of this process, Nick held a leadership role at Swift Marine, where he was responsible for a smooth inflow and outbound flow and managing his team.After Swift Marine, he continued his

continued his career at Speedmark, where he expanded his knowledge about air, sea and road transport and both import and export. In the small, close-knit team with a hands-on mentality, he learned to switch quickly and work with a wide variety of customers.

This made him a true all-round transport specialist with a keen insight into the market and the specific needs of customers. He further expanded his specialization in inside sales at OIA, AIT and Traffic Tech. There, he studied improving internal processes, strengthening customer relationships and optimizing service.

At the same time, he saw up close what often goes wrong in logistics: slow communication, lack of ownership, too much bureaucracy and too little real cooperation. Those experiences were the reason to set up Straight-Line Logistics B.V. in 2024 — a company with a sober, direct approach that focuses on personal attention, proactive communication and smart solutions.
 Nick wants to be more than a supplier: he wants to be his customers' external logistics department — a reliable partner that thinks along, takes care of things and ensures that entrepreneurs can focus on what they love to do: doing business.
